Wade Elliott gave his assessment of the Robins' hard fought 1-0 victory over Shrewsbury Town.
The Robins ended 2022 with a win after Dan Nlundulu's goal sealed the three points in Shropshire.
Following the game, the Robins head coach believed it was a deserved victory for his side after their performance.
"In the first 30 minutes Shrewsbury were the better team, but I did think the problems was of our own making," said Elliott.
"But credit to the lads who managed to correct that. We scored a really good goal, which shifted the momentum, and then from that point on I thought we were very good."
Cheltenham have now moved to 15th in the League One table, and still have a game in-hand on teams.
