Tonight's match in the Papa John's Trophy against Chelsea Under-21s goes ahead thanks to the huge efforts of supporters, staff and directors at the football club.
A group of around 30 people including groundstaff, office staff, Board members and supporters cleared snow off the pitch and removed the frost covers this morning.
A midday pitch inspection by a Football League referee has passed the pitch fit and the working party is now clearing the car park and putting down rock salt. Without the efforts of those supporters tonight's match would not be going ahead so the club is extremely grateful for their considerable efforts.
However, the roads, pavements and parts of the car park remain icy so we urge all supporters attending tonight's game to be vigilant. Please allow extra time for your journey, wrap up warm and be very careful regarding conditions under foot.
Tickets for tonight's match are still available to be purchased online, and we highly recommend you do so to avoid any queues this evening.
Kick-off is still 7PM, and we highly advise supporters arriving earlier at the Completely-Suzuki Stadium than normal.
