The Battle of the Crowes

3 September 2021

Cheltenham Town Head of Medical Gavin Crowe is set to go head-to-head with his wife Bernie to see who finishes first at the Cheltenham Half Marathon on Sunday.

The pair are taking part in the race and in doing so are splitting all money they raise between Acorns Children’s Hospice and Macmillan Cancer Support.

They’ve been training for the event as a pair and will be seeing who comes out on top at the half marathon which winds its way around some of Cheltenham’s most well-known locations from the racecourse, to Pittville Park and Montpellier.

As part of their fundraising efforts they’ve got a number of special prizes on offer including a Cheltenham Town shirt signed by the first team squad, a match programme also signed by the team and two complimentary tickets for a home fixture at the Jonny-Rocks Stadium this season.

They are raising money for their chosen charities through a Crowdfunder, and are inviting donations towards their efforts for Acorns and Macmillan Cancer Support.

To be in with a chance of winning some of the prizes on offer, or to just donate towards their half marathon run, please donate online.
