Reaction: Joseph on MK Dons

4 September 2021

Kyle Joseph was disappointed Cheltenham Town couldn't hold on to three points on his debut for the Robins.

The final addition to the Cheltenham squad ahead of the transfer deadline on Tuesday marked his first appearance for the club with a bang, registering a fine first half opener and producing a notable first performance at the top of the pitch.

He praised the out of possession performance of his new teammates after the game and was frustrated they couldn't hold onto maximum points right until the end, though was apprecitiave of a point to add to the total early on in the season.

"The first 20 minutes we controlled the game really," he said.

"After the goal they came into it a bit more. I think they woke up after that.

"They had the ball quite a bit and it was more about us working hard, staying together and making it tight and compact so it would be difficult for them to play.

"I think we did that really well till they scored and then the game died down after that."
