First team coach Wade Elliott felt there were plenty of positives both on and off the pitch from Cheltenham Town's Papa John's Trophy penalty shootout victory over Chelsea under-21s.
He was pleased with the performances put in by a young Robins side against the youngsters belonging to the current European champions, and also was pleased to see a crowd of just under 3,000 inside the Jonny-Rocks Stadium.
"There were lots of good individual performances. The atmosphere and the turnout I think was a big positive. But probably the biggest plus is the collective. As a team performance I thought it was really good," he said.
"We asked them beforehand to be together, whether that's tactically as a team when we press everybody goes together, but also spirit wise - everybody looking after each other and encouraging and supporting.
"There were lots of pleasing aspects from the evening."
