Scott Flinders wants Cheltenham Town to build on the confidence Saturday's result and performance against Accrington Stanley has provided going into this evening's clash with Morecambe.

A 1-0 win over Stanley on the weekend delivered all three points, and now Morecambe, who also gained promotion from League Two last season, visit Gloucestershire.

Flinders is well aware of their goal scoring exploits so far this season, but also knows at the other end of the pitch the Robins attacking players will also get opportunities to find the net themselves.

"We've done our homework on them. They're up there as one of the top scorers in the league," he said.

"It is going to be another tough game like they all are in this league. We're going to have to be at our best like we were on Saturday. The lads took a lot of confidence from the game.

"They are a very spirited group. High scoring but they do concede as well. We're expecting a different game from the weekend.

"I think people have seen the best of the old Cheltenham that we are hard to beat but creating chances as well."
