We're pleased to announce the appointment of Stephen Hobin in our new role of Head of Commercial Operations.
Steve joins the club next Tuesday (May 18) and will be based full-time at the Jonny-Rocks Stadium.
It comes after one of the club's most challenging seasons following the effects of the global pandemic.
Steve boasts many years of experience in commercial football together with a blend of senior external experience in both the private and public sector.
He has previously worked in the Premier League with Norwich City, together with two stints at Preston North End and a role at Blackburn Rovers.
"It is important that we support Michael Duff and Micky Moore through our ‘off-field’ activities following our promotion to League One," said Commercial Director Paul Bence.
"We have created this new role to oversee and deliver our commercial, ticketing and retail operations, and maximise our revenue streams in the third tier.
"I am very much looking forward to supporting Steve to push the Club to new levels, working with our loyal commercial partners and creating new opportunities to drive the club forward."
Yesterday we announced the return of our popular event at the Cheltenham Cricket Festival, which will be a first opportunity for our partners to meet Steve.
