Preview: Duff on Harrogate Town

6 May 2021

Michael Duff has described himself as "incredibly proud" of his Cheltenham Town team, but urged them to have no regrets when it comes to possibly winning the League Two title on Saturday.

Harrogate Town are the visitors to the Jonny-Rocks Stadium this weekend and Duff wants his players to pick up a winners medal to keep forever by getting the right result in their final run out of a long season.

It's between the Robins and Cambridge United for the top spot and Cheltenham go into the game with a two point lead in first place.

Promotion to League One next season is guaranteed but now the opportunity to win a league in the Football League for the first time for the club is the aim for Duff and his side.

The boss was also keen to credit Saturday's opposition for their performance in their first season in League Two, as they celebrated a first campaign at this level by winning the delayed 2019/20 FA Trophy final at Wembley Stadium on Monday.
