Reaction: Williams on Exeter City

14 March 2021

Saturday's match winner Andy Williams was pleased to make a huge impact in the short space of time he was on the pitch in Saturday's 1-0 win at Exeter City.

The experienced front man came on as a substitute on 87 minutes and went onto head in from Ben Tozer's long throw in during the first minute of stoppage time to help the Robins secure three points at St James Park.

Williams, who also scored against Exeter earlier in the season at the Jonny-Rocks Stadium and in last season's League Two play-off final for Northampton Town, felt Cheltenham were the better team overall in a tight afternoon of football down in Devon.

Next for Williams and his teammates is a home outing against Barrow on Tuesday.

Kick-off against the Bluebirds is at 7pm and you can watch the match by purchasing a match pass on iFollow online.
