Another resilient showing that saw his team make it three consecutive games with a clean sheet pleased Michael Duff after his side claimed victory against Southend United.
Once again the Robins held off a League Two opponent at the back and secured a winning result thanks to Conor Thomas' early second half penalty at the Jonny-Rocks Stadium.
Duff praised the patience of his side as Southend lined up in a 4-5-1 formation in an attempt to block opportunities for Cheltenham to play into forward areas.
He also admitted they were aware going into the game that his team's record against the bottom eight sides in League Two hasn't been as good as it could have been in the campaign, so to record three points was another bonus on top of a good showing.
