Josh Griffiths has been named in the England under-21s squad for their forthcoming 2021 UEFA European under-21 championship matches in Slovenia.
The 19-year-old goalkeeper has been one of League Two's standout goalkeepers in what is his first season as a professional since coming through the youth ranks at West Bromwich Albion.
In total he's kept 18 clean sheets in 39 appearances in all competitions since joining Cheltenham on a season-long loan from the Baggies at the start of the season.
He links up with Aidy Boothroyd's under-21s squad for the first time as the young Three Lions face fixtures against their counterparts from Switzerland, Portugal and Croatia over a series of matches to be played in Slovenia between 25 March and 31 March.
Earlier in the season Griffiths was a part of the England under-19s squad which led to him missing the away victory at Carlisle United.
Due to his call up with the under-21s he will be unavailable for the Robins away fixture at Morecambe on Saturday 27 March.
