Following a successful period spent training with the club, Cheltenham Town are pleased to announce the signing of up and coming Dutch born midfielder Dylan Barkers.
Having appeared as a trialist in the Robins pre-season wins over Coventry City and Hereford, the 21-year-old switches to the Jonny-Rocks Stadium having represented Alvechurch last season in the Southern Premier Central.
Previously before that he had been at National League North side Guiseley and with National League outfit Solihull Moors.
During his time with Guiseley he attracted interest from Leicester City and spent time on trial with the Premier League side.
He has signed a one-year contract and is now a member of the squad for the upcoming League One campaign that begins at Crewe Alexandra on Saturday 7 August.
