Assistant boss Russell Milton said Cheltenham Town had to adapt to ensure the tempo of Tuesday's pre-season friendly win at Hereford was at the right level after the Bulls were reduced to ten men early on in the game.
The nature of Tuesday's friendly changed early on with the dismissal, but it didn't stop the Robins from producing an excellent display of attacking football, running out 8-1 winners against National League North opponents.
Despite having to make changes throughout the evening, Milton was pleased with the team's efforts and the standards they showed throughout the night.
