Michael Duff has one final opportunity to see his team in match action on Saturday when Cheltenham Town host Walsall (kick-off: 3pm).

The League Two Saddlers will make the short journey down the M5 to Gloucestershire for the Robins last pre-season run out before the start of the League One season on 7 August.

It will also be the first opportunity for the fans to watch the team in the brand new away kit that was launched today for the first time.

Tickets for Saturday's game are available to buy online. Purchase before midnight to save money on matchday prices. You can pay on the day if you wish to at the ticket office with all turnstiles at the Jonny-Rocks Stadium now cashless.

Opposition

Walsall have had a very busy summer as they look to challenge in the forthcoming League Two campaign having ended last season 19th with an interim manager in charge.

Matty Taylor has been appointed as Head Coach and the Saddlers player recruitment has seen them bring in a number of new faces.

Most notably former Republic of Ireland international Stephen Ward has joined, while fellow new defensive recruits include Welshman Ash Taylor who has switched from Scottish Premiership Aberdeen, Manny Monthe from Tranmere, Zak Mills from Port Vale, Rollin Menayese in a loan from Mansfield and Danny Coogan has returned.

Former Cheltenham loanee Joss Labadie is a noteable addition from Newport County in midfield, while Brendan Kiernan has transferred from Harrogate Town. Jack Earling has made the step up from FC Halifax.

New attacking faces include Conor Wilkinson from Leyton Orient and Kieran Phillips on loan from Huddersfield.

Match information

Buy your tickets for the game online. Purchase before midnight on Friday to save £2 on the cost of matchday prices.

Pre-ordered tickets can be collected from 12.30pm. The ticket office will also be open separately for matchday sales for fans wishing to buy on the day. You cannot pay on the turnstiles as the club has gone cashless as of this season on the turnstiles.

Card payments are preferred due to covid-19 however if necessary you can pay with cash.

Though it is no longer mandatory to wear a face covering, the club are asking fans if they can do so when ordering drinks at the bar in the Robins Nest. They will not be needed when sitting down at tables in the venue.

Supporters are also asked if they can wear their face covering when moving around the stadium to their seats and standing positions, but they are not required to be worn during the game or when in your position in the stadium.
