Matchday guide: Birmingham City

16 July 2021

On Saturday Cheltenham Town host Championship side Birmingham City in a 3pm kick-off at the Jonny-Rocks Stadium.

Supporters who are attending the match need to buy their tickets online in advance before visiting for the game.

Because the match falls two days before the 19 July date when covid-19 restrictions will be lifted the same restrictions will be in place as per the recent 2020/21 season.

Match tickets

There will no longer be any cash turnstiles at the Jonny Rocks Stadium. All ticket sales will be either in advance of the game (online or from the ticket office) or, if any tickets remain, from one of the ticket offices at the ground on the match day.

Ticket prices are £12 adults, £6 concessions in advance and £14 adults, £8 concessions on the match day.

Those supporters who have ordered online will be able to collect their tickets from a ticket collection point at the ground. Ticket sales points and ticket collection points will be open from 1.30pm.

All the normal home areas of the ground will be open but access to the Colin Farmer Stand will be via the turnstiles at the Whaddon Road/Wymans Road corner of the ground.

COVID-19

As this match takes place before the end of Covid-19 restrictions there will still be a series of measures in place. All seating will be allocated on a socially distanced basis and terrace capacities will be limited in order to provide for social distancing.

Face masks must be worn inside the ground and any supporters buying tickets on the day will be required to 'check in' using the NHS Covid-19 app.

There will also be a phased exit so supporters will be required to remain in their places at the end of the match until directed to leave by stewards.

Club shop

The club shop will be open from Midday to 3pm and immediately after the match. Face masks will need to be worn inside and numbers will be limited by a steward at the entrances.

Bars

Due to current Covid-19 restrictions in place the bars will operate table service only. Capacity is limited to 126 people across the two downstairs bars and access will be granted on a first come, first served basis.

The bars will open from 11am and will close at 2.45pm. They will not be open at half-time but will re-open again after the match, again for table service only.

Car park

The car park will not be open to the public on Saturday due to Covid-19 restrictions.

However, after July 19 we expect to be able to sell a limited number of parking spaces for home matches and these can be booked online or through the ticket office

Remember to buy your match tickets online in advance for Saturday's fixture.
