Cheltenham Town's opening Papa John's Trophy group fixture will take place on Tuesday 31 August against Bristol Rovers.
The game will kick off at 7pm and will take place at the Memorial Stadium in Bristol.
It will be the second time in the opening month of the season that the Robins will face League Two Rovers. Michael Duff's side are also due to face them on 10 August at the same venue in round one of the Carabao Cup.
The other teams in Cheltenham's group for the Papa John's Trophy are Exeter City and Chelsea under-21s.
