Michael Duff felt his Cheltenham Town side fully deserved their FA Cup third round win against Mansfield Town.
The Robins booked a fourth round appearance for the first time in 15 years thanks to an Alfie May strike and Will Boyle header after extra time against a fellow League Two opponent.
Duff believed the amount of chances his team created and the collective effort of using 16 players against an in form Stags side warranted the club's progression into the next stage of the world famous competition.
He was also keen to highlight the financial benefit of progressing in the FA Cup given the current difficulties facing the club because of the covid-19 pandemic.
