Preview: Duff on Manchester City

22 January 2021

Michael Duff has called on his players to give the best account of themselves that they can in a game he's described as "the ultimate free hit" when Cheltenham Town host Manchester City in the FA Cup fourth round on Saturday.

The Premier League big hitters travel to Gloucestershire for a 5.30pm kick-off in a match being broadcast live on BBC One and around the world internationally too.

Duff has described Saturday's opponents as "the form team in the country" going into the game as he aims to lead his side into a unique occasion, with the dream of a giant killing which would no doubt rank as one of the greatest shocks in the history of the competition.

The Robins boss went to watch Man City in their win over Aston Villa on Wednesday and is looking forward to this weekend's tie being an opportunity for the club to generate important money, and for his players to see the high levels that the opposition players have to perform at to be rated as one of the best teams in the world.
