Once again Sean Long stepped in to a different role for Cheltenham Town on Tuesday night and was rewarded with his performance by scoring the winning goal against one of his former clubs.
After recently popping up in the Robins midfield Long featured in the back three at the Abbey Stadium, initially on the right of the back line and then on the left as Cheltenham again battled through to pick up three points at the league leaders despite a number of injuries.
Long was delighted to travel away to the table toppers and to not just pick up all three points but to record a clean sheet in the process too.
