Reaction: Duff on Cambridge United

23 February 2021

A delighted Michael Duff was pleased to see his team bounce back from a disappointing loss on Saturday with a 1-0 away win at the league leaders in League Two.

Going into the game following a frustrating first League loss of 2021 against Bradford City on the weekend, Sean Long's second half header against his former club secured three points at the Abbey Stadium.

Duff hailed the lessons his team learnt quickly after Saturday to go away to the team top of the table and with the best home record in the division to claim victory.

He also praised young defender Grant Horton, who came on for only his second league appearance for the Robins and his first of the campaign, who played a part in keeping a clean sheet and stopping U's top goal scorer Paul Mullin from finding the net.
