Reaction: Boyle on Harrogate Town

10 February 2021

Recording three consecutive clean sheets and following up a difficult week that saw an enforced covid-19 break for the squad and management with a win left Will Boyle satisfied after Tuesday's victory at the EnviroVent Stadium.

The defender netted his fifth goal of the season with a first half header from an inventive Sean Long cross.

It proved to be the only goal of the game and was enough to seal maximum points in the club's first ever competitive meeting with Harrogate Town.

He felt the team played the conditions "brilliantly" with the playing surface essentially frozen for the 90 minutes as temperatures fell below freezing.
