Young players head out on loan

20 August 2021

A number of Cheltenham Town youngsters have joined non-league clubs on loan at the start of the season.

First team goalkeeper Max Harris has linked up with Southern League Division One South side Cinderford Town on a month loan.

The 21-year-old had recently joined Bishop's Cleeve on loan but he has instead now signed temporarily for Cinderford to continue his development.

He made his debut for the Foresters at Highworth Town in midweek in a 2-1 loss.

Second year scholar Zac Guinan has joined Hellenic Premier Division side Bishop's Cleeve on work experience terms.

He is available to make his debut for Paul Collicutt's side when they host Tring Athletic in the FA Cup preliminary round on Saturday.

Second year scholars Felix Miles and Joe Hunt plus first year scholar Will Armitage have signed for Southern League Division One South Evesham United on loan. First team youngster Callum Ebanks has made the same move.

Ebanks appeared for Evesham in their 2-1 win over Mangotsfield United on Monday, while Miles and Armitage could be set to make their first appearances when Evesham play Midland League Premier Division outfit Lichfield City in the FA Cup at the weekend.

All scholars are available to represent their loan clubs in the FA Cup, however the professionals who have headed out on loan have not been given permission to play.
