Liam Sercombe says the squad are now very much looking forward to the new League One season kicking off after finishing the pre-season calendar with another win on Saturday against Walsall.
The midfielder is all set for his second season as a Robins player having achieved promotion as League Two title winners in his first.
He has been impressed with the fitness levels of his teammates with the opening day of the season at Crewe Alexandra to come on Saturday 7 August next.
Cheltenham took control of the second half against Walsall to win 2-0 and he felt changes which saw his team play forward more often made an impact when it came to securing another pre-season win.
