Scott Flinders wants Cheltenham Town to learn quickly from a disappointing late loss at Fleetwood Town.
The experienced goalkeeper was back in goal for the Robins on Saturday.
Despite a number of good saves he couldn't prevent Fleetwood from registering three points as they scored a late goal to seal a 3-2 win.
Two of their goals came from set pieces and Flinders was frustrated about conceding goals of that nature.
"You can't give goals away at any level but especially when you go up a league," he said.
"To get back in the game it was a sucker-punch right at the end.
"You can't give two goals from set pieces and the goal at the end summed up probably the goals we're giving away at the minute. That needs to be sorted out."
Next for the Robins is a visit to one of Flinders old clubs as the team travel to Gillingham in the Carabao Cup second round on Tuesday.
You can purchase tickets and away travel for the game at Priestfield online and from the ticket office on Monday.
Fans are advised that you must buy in advance. There will be no on the day sales and the stadium at Gillingham is entirely cashless.
