Boss Michael Duff is expecting to make changes to the Cheltenham Town side who started the new season on Saturday when they head to Bristol Rovers for round one of the Carabao Cup on Tuesday night.

It's a short trip down the M5 for the Robins to take on the Pirates at the first stage of the competition.

The two sides have swapped divisions after Rovers were relegated from League One last term, and after losing their opening League Two game of the season against Mansfield Town on the weekend they'll be looking to record their first win of the campaign.

It's the same story for Cheltenham who drew 1-1 at Crewe Alexandra on Saturday.

"They've brought a lot of players in and I know it's been a revamp in terms of personnel," Duff said.

"But knowing Joey (Barton) as I do he'll want to win the game.

"They were disappointed at the weekend so they'll be looking to get off to a winning start, but we're still looking for our first win as well.

"There will be changes to the team but that's not devaluing the competition."
