George Lloyd has joined League Two side Port Vale on a season-long loan.
The academy product makes the jump back into League Two having appeared in six of the Robins first team fixtures so far this season.
There is an option to recall the Gloucester born forward in January.
In total Lloyd has made 81 appearances since bursting into the first team squad across all competitions in August 2017 while still a scholar, registering 8 goals in that time.
It's the second loan spell of his career. He spent time in the National League North with Hereford during the 2018/19 campaign.
Last season was his most successful yet in terms of appearances as he played 40 times in all competitions as Cheltenham won the League Two title, also appearing in the FA Cup fourth round tie with Premier League giants Manchester City.
