Fans remembered at Wycombe Wanderers game

6 August 2021

Our home match against Wycombe Wanderers will be the first league fixture at the Jonny-Rocks Stadium for more than 18 months.

Last March the turnstiles closed following the final League Two match against Port Vale and a national lockdown quickly followed.

The global pandemic has impacted every aspect of life in our community and we want to use the occasion in eight days' time to remember the people we've lost with an association with the club during this difficult period.

Former club captain Alec Carson, Gloucestershire football stalwart Gordon 'Jasper' Cook, record appearance maker Roger Thorndale and Richard Allsopp of the Robins Trust passed away last year.

This year we have lost long-serving referee Dave Watts, sponsor Andy Savvides and Terry Roberts, our former groundsman.

If you have a friend or family member you would like us to also feature on the big screen before the kick-off on Saturday 14 August then please contact Richard Joyce at richard.joyce@ctfc.com, including a picture and message.

We will also include the pictures and messages on our website and in our matchday programme. The deadline for sending pictures is next Friday (13 August at midday).
