New Cheltenham Town signing Dylan Barkers is pleased to see his hard work pay off in earning his first move into professional football with the Robins.
The young midfielder has made the step up to the Football League for the first time in his career having previously represented the likes of Solihull Moors, Guiseley and Alvechurch.
After a successful time spent training with the Robins at the back end of last season and this pre-season, he's penned a one-year deal for his first taste of pro game.
"Making it pro is everyone's dream, but to actually be here, and in League One level as well I'm just buzzing," he said.
"I'm a manager's player, so you get your instructions and then you go and do it.
"I like to sit in front of the defence and break up play."
