Conor Thomas can see promotion to League One in touching distance after his late goal on Saturday against Colchester United put Cheltenham Town in an unbelievable position at the top of the fourth tier.
The midfielder was in the right place at the right time to force home the ball from a corner kick to ensure Colchester left Gloucestershire empty handed.
A late three points moved Michael Duff's team to the top of the table and Thomas revealed after the game that heads are still very much focused in the changing rooms on not just securing promotion in the final three games, but going onto attempting to win the league title.
