Reaction: Chapman on Grimsby Town

6 April 2021

Young midfielder Ellis Chapman admitted it was a disappointed dressing room after Cheltenham Town's 1-1 draw at Grimsby Town on Easter Monday.

The 20-year-old started in the centre of the pitch having featured as a substitute in Friday's Sky Sports win over Tranmere Rovers.

He said after the game that four points from the Easter weekend was satisfying but that the team could and should have taken more from the two matches.

The former Lincoln City man was also pleased with the reaction to a poor start to the game from his teammates.

He'll be hoping to be involved in Cheltenham's next outing which is a home game against Leyton Orient on Saturday at the Jonny-Rocks Stadium.
