Supporters update

7 September 2020

The 2020/21 season got underway with a Carabao Cup victory at Peterborough United on Saturday for Cheltenham Town.

It was the start of a busy opening week to the season which sees us travel to Newport County AFC in the EFL Trophy on Tuesday evening before hosting Morecambe at the Jonny-Rocks Stadium in our first League Two fixture on Saturday.

With the unique circumstances in which the club's 2020/21 season is beginning, we've provided a new update for supporters to help with any queries they may have as we gear up for our first home fixture this weekend.

Attending matches

Unfortunately supporters are currently still unable to attend games due to restrictions related to covid-19. This applies to all fans whether they're season ticket holders or non-season ticket holders and includes this Saturday's home match against Morecambe.

Progress is being made across the country on the potential return of fans to stadiums for matchdays and when more information on a confirmed return is made available we will communicate this with our fanbase immediately.

Please do not attempt to attend this Saturday's home game with Morecambe as you will not be allowed access to the stadium.

Watching games on iFollow

Supporters can watch the team in action on iFollow this season online.

Season ticket holders are able to watch all home matches online. They will be sent a passcode before each home fixture that they will be able to enter to get access to the game.

We are encouraging season ticket holders to log onto the online ticket system to ensure we have their correct emails details so they're given access to iFollow. This opening will only be available to season ticket holders until 4 October when the window for registering for iFollow will close.

Away matches are not included in the access offer to season ticket holders and nor are cup fixtures.

Non-season ticket holders can purchase an individual match pass for all games for £10 to watch matches on iFollow.

You can purchase match passes online for all upcoming games.

Season ticket sales

Season tickets are currently temporarily off sale as the club work on socially distanced seating arrangements at the Jonny-Rocks Stadium.

We are trying where possible to keep fans close to their original seats, however it is inevitable that fans will have to be moved to accommodate social distancing.

It's hoped season tickets will be back on sale soon to enable fans who haven't purchased a season ticket for the new campaign to get their hands on one. More information about season tickets is available online.

Supporters who are waiting for their season tickets are advised that we are currently in the process of producing all season tickets for the new season and they'll be able to receive these soon. We will issue further communications on this.

Cut-outs

This week some supporters will begin to be united with the cut-outs they purchased in support of the team for the League Two play-off semi-finals last season.

We have been working through these and the players have been busy each day at the training ground signing the many cut-outs that fans have requested to be signed.

The club will be in touch with all supporters whose cut-outs are ready to be collected to arrange a time window for when they can be picked up. We'll also be in touch with those who are having their cut-outs posted soon to confirm that they are on their way.

If you are still yet to let us know what you want doing with your cut-outs please email ctfc.pictures@gmail.com with the names of your cut-outs and details of whether you want them signed or unsigned, and whether you'll be collecting them or having them posted. If you are having them posted please purchase postage on our online shop.

Thank you to supporters for their patience while we have been working through all of the cut-outs. We are now at a much closer stage to uniting them with the fans.

Finally we would like to say thank you to all of our fans who continue to get behind the club during these unusual times. The team made an excellent start to the season on Saturday at Peterborough and are very much looking forward to beginning this year's EFL Trophy campaign and of course all-important League Two season on Saturday.

We hope you can continue to get behind the players and the club from a distance before we look forward to safely welcoming you back to the Jonny-Rocks Stadium at some point in the future.
