Cheltenham Town have secured the signing of Tom Sang on a loan deal from Championship side Cardiff City, subject to international clearance.
He is the fourth loan arrival at the Jonny-Rocks Stadium for the 2020/21 season and moves to the club on an agreement lasting until January.
The 21-year-old can play in a number of positions in midfield, and as a wing back, and appeared for the Bluebirds in the pre-season friendly between Cardiff and the Robins during August.
He began his career at Manchester United and trained with the first team at Old Trafford under then manager Jose Mourinho.
The Liverpudlian spent time on loan with AFC Fylde in the second half of the 2018/19 campaign as the Coasters went onto reach the National League promotion final, only to be denied the chance of getting into League Two after defeat to Salford City at Wembley.
Upon his release by United he moved to Cardiff to become a part of their under-23s set-up.
He has made two first team appearances for the Bluebirds in an FA Cup tie at Reading in February 2020 and earlier this season in a Carabao Cup clash with Northampton Town.
Commenting on his loan to Cheltenham Sang said: "I couldn't think of a better place to start playing some games.
"The aim for me is to get experience, step up a level and develop myself. It's a huge step forward and there's a lot more when there's points on the line.
"With the whole philosophy about the place I'm just really looking forward to it."
He will wear squad number 27 in his time at the Jonny-Rocks Stadium.
