Having dominated a large majority of the opening day first half match up with Morecambe, boss Michael Duff was left disappointed that his team threw away their advantage to record an opening day loss.
Alfie May's first half goal handed Duff's men a positive start on the first day of the new 2020/21 League Two season.
However Derek Adams Morecambe produced an impressive second half showing after the break to bounce back and secure victory through the successful conversion of a penalty, and then a late Carlos Mendes Gomes goal on the counter-attack.
