Michael Duff was pleased with his team's performance in Tuesday's final pre-season friendly ahead of this weekend's Carabao Cup trip to Peterborough United.
Goals from Leandro Bacuna and Aden Flint helped Championship side Cardiff City to a 2-1 win at the Cardiff City Stadium, with Alfie May netting a second half goal in response.
Duff praised his team's intensity in what he felt was an entertaining game of football in the Welsh capital.
He has also provided a fitness update on his squad with a number of players still out of action ahead of this weekend's trip to the Weston Homes Stadium.
