First half goals from young duo George Lloyd and Finn Azaz earned all three points for Cheltenham Town on the road at Leyton Orient.
The Robins made it back-to-back wins a fortnight on from another fine away win on the road at Tranmere Rovers with a controlled performance at the Breyer Group Stadium.
Academy product Lloyd struck to open the scoring and West Bromwich Albion loanee Finn Azaz secured a second, both in the first half, in only the team's third League Two fixture of the new campaign.
An impressive performance last time out at Tranmere ensured Lloyd maintained his place in the starting XI, and he delivered on his inclusion up top with the opening goal just past the quarter of an hour mark.
Andy Williams header from a cross was parried by Lawrence Vigouroux and Lloyd was on hand to stab in from close range.
The academy product came close to grabbing a second when he nearly got on the end of a powerful header from Will Boyle but Vigouroux managed to gather.
Seconds later though and it was Azaz who doubled the lead. He finished off Boyle's cross from the left to add to the positive start.
Orient did have the ball in the back of the Cheltenham net ten minutes before half time. However leading goal scorer Danny Johnson was judged to be in an offside position and it was ruled out.
Ross Embleton's team started the second half brightly with Louis Dennis powering an effort off target, while Boyle made a superb block to deny substitute Ruel Sotiriou inside the box.
With a two goal lead to protect, a bitty second half failed to gain any rhythm, and even a triple substituion from the home side failed to create the spark needed to launch a comeback.
Chris Clements late free kick went just over the bar shortly before the full time whistle in the final act of a quieter second half.
