With the news this week that Gloucestershire has been placed into tier 2 for covid-19 restrictions from Wednesday 2 December onwards we are looking forward to welcoming fans back to the Jonny-Rocks Stadium for matches.
Right now we are working with the information available, and with the preparations that have already been put in by place by the club to ready the stadium for the safe return of supporters.
However we are still awaiting further instruction from the relevant authorities on other things we need to put in place so please bear with us as we wait for more information.
We will be issuing regular updates from the start of next week for supporters that will include protocols and FAQs around what supporters need to know about the return to matchdays at the Jonny-Rocks Stadium.
There will also be further details about using iFollow to watch matches moving forward, once the EFL has supplied it.
As soon as we have more information to share with supporters we will move quickly to do so. We will use email, our social media and website to communicate it all as we have it.
In the meantime however we would plead with fans not to contact the club asking questions regarding the return to watch matches at the Jonny-Rocks Stadium.
Simply put we're a small team and our resources do not currently stretch to deal with all enquiries while we work on the preparations needed to return our supporters safely to matches after lockdown.
Rest assured though, we are working hard on it.
But what's clear is that we'll need to work together on this. Everyone will need to play their part in a successful return and we may have to ask supporters to do things a little differently to allow a smooth operation. We ask for your cooperation to get back to football in a safe and secure way.
One thing's for sure – we can't wait to see you all again!
