Robins support 2020 EFL Day of Action

10 March 2020

The Cheltenham Town Community Trust Education Scholars watched first team training at the Jonny-Rocks Stadium today as part of the EFL's 2020 Day of Action.

All 72 clubs across the Football League are coming together for one day to highlight the work they are doing to tackle some of society's biggest issues.

This morning the Trust's Education Scholars watched a part of training and then met Michael Duff at the end of the session.

Through the work of the Community Trust, the Robins reach a wide audience across Gloucestershire, ranging from young to older age groups, to use the influence of football as a way of providing support and learning on mental health, fitness, education and other areas.

The Community Trust delivers 15,646 hours of engagement to 2,890 people, and with most programmes delivered to groups this equates to an overall generated total of 154,440 individual hours of engagement.

Watch above on iFollow to get a taste of some of the work the Community Trust and club are doing with the local community.
