Captain Ben Tozer felt victory on the road at Colchester United on Saturday was a noteworthy result for his side against another promotion contender in League Two.

The Robins made it five straight wins in League Two as they dug out another winning showing and a clean sheet in Essex thanks to goals in either half from Alfie May and Chris Hussey.

Tozer led the backline to another clean sheet and felt the style of his team's performance ranked highly in what has been a pleasing campaign so far.

"I don't think Owen has had a save to make. In the conditions, the circumstances, and all that stuff it's definitely up there," he said.

"It's a tough place to come. You've seen their results, especially against the top seven teams that they've played against this season. They've done really well.

"To come here and win is massive. It was a difficult pitch. We were pretty poor for the first 35 minutes. We managed to get ourselves going which is great."

The next outing for the Robins is on Saturday when it's a return to home action for the visit of fellow promotion hunter Port Vale.

Kick-off against the Valiants is at 3pm and tickets are available to buy online at any time or from the ticket office on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday between 10am and 3pm.
