Goals from Alfie May and Chris Hussey made it five straight wins with victory over Colchester United on Saturday.
The Robins added to their recent excellent run of form with another three points against a team also challenging towards the top end of League Two.
Alfie May's late first half goal put Michael Duff's men in front, and Chris Hussey then made sure of the win towards the back end of the second half when his free kick from a wide position found the top corner.

The next fixture for Cheltenham is on Saturday when Port Vale are the visitors to the Jonny-Rocks Stadium.
It'll be the third game against the Valiants in the current campaign having already also faced them in the FA Cup second round. Kick-off is at 3pm and tickets are available to buy online as well as from the ticket office in advance on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday between 10am and 3pm.
