Charlie Raglan has pointed to the positivity of having one of the best home records in League Two and how effective that has been this season ahead of Saturday's home encounter with Port Vale.

It's a fifth against seventh meeting at the Jonny-Rocks Stadium on Saturday when Vale make the trip down the M6 and M5 to Gloucestershire.

Raglan started his career with Saturday's opponents and feels that his current employers excellent home form this term - ranked fifth best in the division - has been key in helping the team earn a league position only two points off the automatic promotion places heading into the weekend.

"We have got a good home record and we are proud of that," he said. "That's not a bad thing - it's a good mentality to have when people come here we know that we're going to give them a game. We want to beat anyone and everyone who comes here.

"Port Vale are no different. They're in and around us and it's another three points up for grabs. That's what we're focusing on.

"They are a tough side and are going for the same prize that we're going for at this stage of the season."
