Former Cheltenham Town managers John Ward and Keith Downing feature in a special edition for Episode 6 of The Boot Zoom.
The pair worked together as manager and assistant to guide Cheltenham to League One back in 2006 via a play-off final win over Grimsby in Cardiff.
After helping the club secure its highest ever finish in its entire history, Ward's highly regarded four year tenure as boss saw him depart to Carlisle United.
Downing took the reigns in the dugout, and he memorably led the club to League One safety on the final day of the 2007/08 season, and has since gone onto work in his current role managing the England under-20s national team - having also guided the under-19s side to the 2017 UEFA European Under-19 Championship title.
The two are held in very high regard at Cheltenham and throughout the game, and they join the Gloucestershire Echo's Jon Palmer for a fascinating look back at their time leading the club in one of the most successful and notable periods in its history.
