Cheltenham Town academy manager Antoine Thompson has been looking back on a successful 2019/20 season for the club's youth set-up.
It has been a season that saw the under-18s take Arsenal all the way to penalties in the FA Youth Cup after reaching the third round, five under-18s players were involved in first team matchday squads, while there's been numerous successes for other age groups in cup competitions too.
The under-16s reached the EFL Floodlit Cup final and the under-15s and under-17s were also enjoying success in their respective age group competitions as well until covid-19 put a stop to the season.
Thompson also reflects on the impact covid will have on the Academy getting back up to speed moving forward into the new season.
