Defender Jacob Greaves has been voted as the Autovillage Player of the Month for December after being chosen by Cheltenham fans on social media.
The 19-year-old on loan from Hull City narrowly beat fellow defender Will Boyle, midfielder Jake Doyle-Hayes and November's winner Alex Addai in the vote for his performances in the final month of 2019.
Greaves played all five of the Robins' matches in December, carrying on his fine form throughout the campaign as part of a back five that only conceded four times and not more than once per match.
As well as carrying out defensive duties, Greaves impressed with some encouraging runs forward from defence, filling in at left-wing-back against Cambridge United in the absence of Chris Hussey too.
He also played a wonderful through pass to George Lloyd which led to an early penalty against Northampton Town.
Winner of the EFL Young Player of the Month award in September, Greaves has made 29 appearances for the Robins so far this season.
