8 January 2020

It's been confirmed that Max Sheaf and Jacob Greaves have extended their loans at the Jonny-Rocks Stadium until the end of the season.

The pair are on loan from Championship side Hull City and have agreed to remain at the club for the remainder of the campaign.

Both signed in August 2019, they have impressed while on loan from the Tigers, who are managed by former Cheltenham midfielder Grant McCann.

Greaves has made 29 appearances in all competitions. The 19-year-old made his debut in the Carabao Cup round one defeat at Bristol Rovers and has been an ever present in the back-line, winning the EFL September Young Player of the Month.

Sheaf has made 14 appearances in all competitions, with his debut coming on the opening day of the season at Leyton Orient.

Between late August and into early November he endured a frustrating spell on the sidelines with a hamstring problem, however his return to fitness has seen him net twice for the Robins.

You can read an interview with Greaves discussing his loan extension in this Saturday's match programme when Walsall are the visitors to the Jonny-Rocks Stadium.

Tickets for the game are on sale from the ticket office on Thursday and Friday between 10am and 3pm, or anytime online.
