Loan watch: Lovett helps Tiverton to Salisbury draw

3 February 2020

Rhys Lovett's final game of his loan spell at Southern Premier South Tiverton Town saw him help his loan side to a point on the road at Salisbury on Saturday.

The 22-year-old made two important saves to deny Salisbury's Shaq Hippolyte-Patrick and Lewis Benson at the Ray Mac Stadium as Tiverton remain third.

Dan Bowry helped Bath City earn a point in a goalless draw on the road at Dorking Wanderers in the National League South. The Antigua & Barbuda international helped the Romans to a clean sheet in what was Jerry Gill's hundreth league match in charge.

At the same level second year scholar Grant Horton was not involved in Chippenham Town's matchday squad as they were thrashed 5-1 by Dartford, while Aaron Basford was amongst the substitutes for Cinderford Town as they lost at Melksham Town in the Southern League Division One South.

Tom Chamberlain and Archie Brennan were both unused substitutes in their sides games. Chamberlain was in the matchday squad for Evesham United as they won away at a Mangotsfield United side that included former Robins scholar Camden Duncan in their team, while Brennan didn't get on in Alvechurch's Southern Premier Central 0-0 stalemate with Leiston.

Tuffley Rovers were without a game this weekend so Isaac Lawrence was without a game.
