Michael Duff wants his Cheltenham Town side to focus on themselves when they make the trip to Scunthorpe United on Saturday.
Saturday's opponents are without a manager after the recent departure of Paul Hurst with their former boss, Russ Wilcox, in caretaker charge.
Despite the change in personnel at the Sands Venue Stadium Duff wants his team to rely on what they can control ahead of this weekend's contest with a fit and healthy squad which will force him to leave three or four players out of the matchday 18.
"They tried a different formation on Saturday and changed back to what was a little bit more familiar to themselves during the game. We don't know what they are going to play," Duff said.
"We can only pre-empt what we think they are going to do and focus on us.
"We're in a good moment and got some good players performing quite well so we've given ourselves an opportunity.
"There's a definite carrot there. Always be aware of what the opposition are doing but it's more about what we do.
"If we turn up and deliver what we can do we believe we can hurt any team in the league."
