Michael Duff is expecting Tuesday's visitors to the Jonny-Rocks Stadium to provide his side with a difficult test as his team go in search of a sixth straight home win.

Northampton Town are the next opponents for the Robins, who have been in fine form at home in 2020.

Saturday's latest win over Mansfield Town was the team's fifth straight home victory, but Duff is well aware that a Northampton outfit who occupy the final play-off spot after beating Exeter City at the weekend will be another step up in terms of a challenge.

"They have been pretty direct, they are physical, they play a different way to us but that's what football is all about," he said. "It's about different ways and finding ways to win.

"It was a tough game at their place. They had a few chances but I felt their man should have been sent off in the first minute of the game.

"They are a difficult team to play against. You look at the results they put together, the run that they went on, I know they've lost three on the spin but they've just beaten Exeter.

"The run they were on before that they had a credible run against Derby in the FA Cup and then taken them all the way in the replay as well.

"We know what to expect because it's the same as they'll know what to expect from us.

"They're good at what they do. It's all right knowing about it, it's about being good enough to deal with it."
