Ryan Broom is hoping him and his Cheltenham Town teammates can take their winning momentum and earn another positive result on the road at Colchester on Saturday.

The Welshman scored the first goal in the Robins comeback win over Northampton Town on Tuesday night at the Jonny-Rocks Stadium - the team's fourth straight win in League Two.

It means the team make the trip to Essex in confident mood but will encounter another significant test on their travels with a Colchester team occupying 6th spot next in line in a bruising fixture schedule.

"We've got great momentum at the minute," he said. "It's about going into the next game trying to do as well as we can.

"They are a good side - we found that out last season and this season as well.

"If we play how we know we're capable of playing we can get a positive result.

"It's 11v11 but hopefully we can put in a performance like we have done at home."

Tickets are available to buy on the day at Colchester United as Michael Duff's charges look to make it five unbeaten in the division.
