Reaction: Sang on Exeter City

6 December 2020

Playing in front of the Cheltenham Town faithful for the first time since joining on loan was a real eye opener for Tom Sang on Saturday.

The Liverpudlian appeared as a second half substitute in the 5-3 win over Exeter City at the Jonny-Rocks Stadium as for the first time this season up to a thousand supporters had access to watch a game at the ground.

He noted just how much of a difference even a smaller number of fans made on the team's performance as they turned on the style to record an excellent win in what was a second against third clash heading into kick-off.

Watch Sang's post-match interview when he spoke to Alex Bullions and John Townley.

The Cardiff City loanee could be in action on Tuesday night for the Robins in the Papa John's Trophy second round fixture with Portsmouth. Kick-off against the current competition champions is at 7pm.

Tickets are available to buy online and are on general sale. You can only attend the match if you've purchased a ticket in advance.
