Reaction: Lloyd on Salford City

13 December 2020

George Lloyd was left to rue some of the missed opportunities in Saturday's goalless draw at Salford City but was pleased to still pick something up from the game.

The striker caused the hosts defence plenty of problems, and hit the bar with a header in the second half, but couldn't help Cheltenham find a way through despite creating plenty of openings at the Peninsula Stadium.

Strike partner Alfie May also hit the crossbar in the opening few minutes as Michael Duff's side picked up only a point for their efforts - a result which keeps the team second in League Two.

They'll be hoping to find the net on Tuesday night when Bolton Wanderers are the visitors to the Jonny-Rocks Stadium.

Kick-off is at 7.45pm and there are still a limited number of tickets on sale, available to buy online, for the game.
